Chefs at the Market Summer Camp / July 16 – July 19 / 10am-1pm

Love going to the Farmer’s Market?  Do you want your kids to learn how food is grown?  Join us as we explore and cook with fresh herbs right from our kitchen garden on site and plenty of produce from local farms! We will make stir-fry, salads with homemade dressings, rainbow pasta salad, smoothies, chocolate cupcakes with a secret ingredient, homemade pizza, fruit popsicles, and much more.  We will cook and eat the rainbow this week at camp, which color will be your favorite?

CHEFS AT THE MARKET DETAILS:

* Date: July 16 – July 19 
* Time: 10am-1pm 
* Ages: 4-8
* Cost: $230
* Materials & Food we prepare in class is included each day
* Location: Kitchen House

Throughout the week our campers will:
* Collaborate to create the menu for each day.
* Practice a variety of kitchen skills during our hands-on cooking projects 
* Chefs will practice preparing foods with fresh herbs and vegetables from the Kitchen House garden, along with a bounty of Farmer’s Market Produce!
* Learn more about growing your own food from a local Farmer
* Plant Seeds and learn about plant growth

No need to pack anything but a water bottle, campers will make their own snacks and lunch each day! Please let us know if your child has any dietary restrictions.

Kids Baking Competition Summer Camp / June 18-21 / 9am-2pm

Have you ever wanted to be on the Kids Baking Championship tv show?  Here’s your chance to show off your baking skills and learn new techniques!  Each day we will focus on new and creative baking techniques.  The camp will conclude with a Baking Competition to showcase your success!

KIDS BAKING COMPETITION CAMP DETAILS:
* Dates: 6/18-6/21  
* Time: 9am-2pm (Extended Hours Camp; 5 hours/day)
* Ages: 8-12
* Cost: $350 per session 
* Materials & food we prepare in class are included each day
* Location: Kitchen House

Throughout the week our campers will:
* Watch clips of Kids Baking Competitions on TV, sift through cookbooks, and be inspired!
* Learn new bakery recipes each day, like pies, cakes, cookies, and breads!
* Take home samples of what they made in camp.
* Be challenged to perfect baking techniques to prepare for the Competition on the last day.

Tastes of Italy Summer Camp / June 11-14 / 10am-1pm

Travel to Italy with your taste buds! We are going to let our tummies be our tour guides! In this hands-on cooking day camp, our chefs will enjoy making from scratch; pasta, pizza, calzones, cannolis, spinach ravioli, spaghetti & meatballs, and more!  Each day, we’ll make multiple recipes celebrating the cuisine from Italy. Our campers will gain practical cooking skills along the way while they explore global flavors.

TRIP TO ITALY CAMP DETAILS:
* Dates: 6/11-6/14
* Time: 10am-1pm 
* Ages: 5-10 (K-5th grades)
* Cost: $230 per session

“A Taste for Adventure” – Spring Break Camp

Travel around the world with your tastebuds! Let our tummies be our tour guides! In this hands-on cooking class we’ll travel to some of the world’s greatest food destinations: Italy, Asia, France, and Colombia!  Each day we’ll make multiple recipes celebrating the cuisine from one part of the world. Our campers will gain practical cooking skills along the way while they explore global flavors.

SPRING BREAK CAMP DETAILS:
* Dates: 3/12 – 3/15/18
* Time: 10am-1pm (early care & extended care is available for an additional fee)
* Ages: 5-10 (K-5th grades)
* Cost: $210 per session ($170 + $40 materials fee)
* Materials & food we prepare in class included each day
* Location: Kitchen House

Throughout the week our campers will:
* Collaborate to create the menu for each day, selecting dishes that represent the cities we are studying.
* Gain experience with planning, budgeting and shopping
* Practice a variety of kitchen skills during our hands-on cooking projects
* Create their own custom Culinary Passport of all the dishes from the week.
